Committee Objectives
- to complement and supplement existing mission trip opportunities
- facilitate more individuals experiencing mission work
- impact lives by that experience
The Mission Committee will proactively place a handful of specific opportunities in front of our church family (and extended family). This will alleviate some of the hurdles/excuses that may routinely prevent individuals from participating in mission trips, and provide or identify leadership for these mission trips.
Tentatively, mission trip opportunities for the 2016 and 2017 calendar years include:
4 international trips
- Haiti / Hospital Lumiere
- Haiti / House Building
- Jamaica / Bamboo Work Project
- Guatemala City / Orphanage & Slums
- 2 domestic experiences
- Tennessee/Appalachia & Sunset Gap
- The Bronx, New York City
Participation in these mission trips is intended to be self-funded. Please feel free to visit with any of the following committee members for more information:
